Caleb Ewan (Orica-Scott) won Stage 6 of the Tour of Britain in a convincing performance into Aldeburgh beating Fernando Gaviria (Quick-Step Floors) to the stage win.
A late attack from Alex Dowsett (Movistar) animated the final kilometres, yet was unable to stick with Orica-Scott driving the pace at the front of the bunch. Ewan finished off his team's work taking a third victory in six stages.
Lars Boom (LottoNL-Jumbo) holds onto the leaders jersey going into the penultimate stage, keeping his six second gap to teammate Victor Campenaerts.
Tomorrow sees the riders tackle a rolling stage from Hemel Hempstead to Cheltenham.
The tale of the stage
Stage 6 saw the peloton take on yet another flat stage from Newmarket to Aldeburgh with only one categorised climb on route.
The 187km stage will produce little in the way of General Classification shake-up and is expected to see the sprinters contest the win again.
Yesterday's time trial along the coastal roads of Essex saw Lars Boom (LottoNL-Jumbo) take the stage and the overall lead with teammate Victor Campenaerts second, six seconds back.

With the time gaps between the top ten so tight, multiple teams took responsibility of reeling the break back, with Katusha-Alpecin and Dimension Data sharing the duties with LottoNL-Jumbo.
In the last 25km, the time gap dropped to 1 minute 30, with clear impetus from the peloton to contest a stage sprint.
With 10km to go, crosswinds threatened with Team Sky pushing the pace on the front as the race hit some exposed fields.
The break were eventually caught with 3km left to race.
