Cyclist has spent the day trawling up and down the aisles of the annual London Bike Show at the Excel Arena in search of the newest and coolest kit on show.
While most new products are launched at major races like the Tour de France or trade shows such as Eurobike, if you look hard enough you will always find some hidden gems.
Below are some of our favourite spots of the day and why we love them.
Stephen Hyde's custom Cannondale SuperX

There is something about American National Champions and cool custom painted bikes. On the road we have Aqua Blue Sport's Larry Warbasse and his ultra-classy custom painted 3T Strada. Off-road there is Stephen Hyde with his stars and stripes 'Dale that looks as patriotic as a bald eagle playing baseball.
Ekoi Legende helmet

The Cinelli hairnet is the most iconic piece of cycling headwear ever. In homage, French company Ekoi has produced the Legende, a doth of the cap to that vintage part of cycling heritage.
Romain Bardet wore a prototype of this lid on Bastille Day last year's Tour and now the helmet is ready to be released to the masses.
Favorit F1 Special

It's not often that us at Cyclist stumble upon a bike brand that we have never heard of but today that happened.
All we know is that it is called Favorit, it makes all of its bikes in its hometown just outside of Prague, Czech Republic, and that the bikes are beautifully stunning.
Note, they are fully carbon despite the look of the front fork.
Festka Doppler and Spectre

On the theme of beautiful Czech bikes, Festka was also in attendance.
Displaying its Spectre and Doppler frame, they were among the best looking bikes at the show. Just look at the intricate details on the top tube of the Doppler.
Metier Beacon Jacket

The other day I rode my first sportive of the year. Such was the time it took me to ride it, by the time I'd come to the finish it was already dusk.
Luckily, I had an emergency set of lights to get me home. If not, the Metier Beacon jacket would have come in perfect with its integrated set of front and rear lights.
Black Sheep Has kit

Just because it's called Has and is from Australia doesn't make it the invention of Katusha-Alpecin's Nathan Haas. I learned that today.
Instead, it's some pretty bonza kit from Australia's latest company attempting to break the cycling clothing market, Black Sheep.
If this is a bit out there do not worry as its essential range due to drop in March is looking pretty classy.
