Fresh from yet another dominant spring, Anna van der Breggen (Boels-Dolmans) will head to the Tour de Yorkshire on 3rd May as she looks to win the first multi-stage edition of the race.
The recent Liege-Bastogne-Liege and Tour of Flanders champion will be joined by compatriot, teammate and road race World Champion Chantal Blaak who has also been in a fine vein of form.
The Dutch duo will be joined by the likes of former Tour de Yorkshire winner Kristen Wild (Wiggle High5), Ellen Van Dijk (Team Sunweb) and Chloe Hosking (Ale-Cipollini).
Van der Breggen stormed the Spring Classics this year with victories at Liege and Flanders as well as Strade Bianche, crossing the line solo on each occasion. Added to these three race wins was also victory at Fleche Wallonne and two stages of the Healthy Ageing Tour.
Blaak succeeded where Van der Breggen did not snatching the Amstel Gold Race at the beginning of the Ardennes Classics week.
British hopes will fall in the hand's Olympic gold medal duo Katie Archibald (Wiggle High5) and Dani Rowe (Great British National Team).
Rowe will be looking to build upon her impressive 12th place at Liege at the weekend.
The women's Tour de Yorkshire, which has been doubled to a two day event, will be an enthralling watch especially with a summit finish atop the Cow and Calf climb to bring a conclusion to the racing.
