Gearing up for a tilt at a record-equalling fifth Tour de France title, Chris Froome has returned to Strava as he yet again posts a huge training ride.
The Team Sky rider posted a 225km ride earlier in the week called 'African Experience for Salva' as he prepares for the upcoming season with a training camp in South Africa.
The ride, that brushed past some of South Africa's Game Reserves, saw the six-time Grand Tour champion out on the road for six and half hours, likely to be longer than any race he will tackle this season.

Luckily, he was not alone, with Italian teammate Salvatore Puccio tagging along for the ride, although he was not enjoying it as much as Froome.
Also posting to Strava, the 29-year-old titled his ride 'Killed by Froomey, season is over'.
The reason he found it so hard would likely come down to the 6,720m of elevation gain the two managed in the ride. Impressively, the duo also managed to average 34.5kmh along the way.
Froome also reach a max speed of just under 80kmh with an average cadence of 86rpm, low for the rider famed for spinning a small gear.
Along the way, the two riders clocked up a few King of the Mountains although these are in dispute as somebody has already decided to flag Froome's ride.
This continues Froome's tradition of returning to the online training app periodically to post incredibly long training rides before disappearing again.
Last January, the 33-year-old posted a similar ride called 'Empty the tank' that saw him cover 271km in just over six hours with an incredible average speed of 44.8kmh.
Again, this ride was flagged which is of no surprise considering the stats.
Ahead of his attempt at a fifth yellow jersey, Froome will begin his season in early February at the second-ever Tour of Colombia in which he will race alongside defending champion and teammate, Egan Bernal. After that, he will head to the UAE Tour before beginning preparations towards the Tour in July.
