Perhaps in an attempt to foster some much-needed goodwill between cyclists and car drivers, BMW and 3T have collaborated to produce two special edition builds of the Italian bike brand’s Exploro gravel bike.
Mirroring the tasteful colour options evident in BMW’s latest cars, 3T has painted the special Exploros in two exclusive colourways - the bike is available in tone-on-tone grey or grey/blue variants.
‘3T was a natural choice for us, as 3T’s Exploro model is the best gravel bike available combining performance, luxury and cycling pleasure to our customers,’ says Gaston Streiger, head of BMW's lifestyle division.
‘Characterised by sharp silhouettes and precise lines, the new gravel bike seamlessly aligns with the minimalistic BMW design and perfectly fits into the overall lifestyle product range.’

The Exploro is notable for being the first gravel bike designed with aerodynamics in mind, and has proven very popular since its release back in 2016.
The 3T Exploro for BMW bike makes use of that same pioneering frame, paired with 3T’s equally innovative Torno carbon aero cranks and exclusive Brooks accessories.
A Shimano GRX groupset, Fulcrum Racing 7 DB wheels and Schwalbe One Speed tyres are all solid choices to round out the well-balanced bikes’ build specs.

Despite the exclusive collaboration the bike won’t be hard to get hold of: both colour variations of the 3T Exploro for BMW bike will soon be available for purchase at selected BMW dealers and 3T Experience Centres.
