The Tour Series returns for a ninth season, and the 2017 list of events has been unveiled at an event in Wembley. This year all rounds will take place over just three weeks in May and will end in Stevenage on Bank Holiday Monday.
Unfortunately, the race is not due to return to the Isle of Wight where its visit in 2015 proved particularly popular. There will, however, be three new host locations with Wembley Park, Aberdeen and Northwich in Cheshire welcoming the race for the first time.
Also new to the series is the inclusion of Saturday night racing, and Bath and Durham will host these events on 20th and 27th May respectively.
The new Wembley circuit will be 1.5km in length and take riders up the concourse of Wembley Stadium.
The women's Matrix Fitness Grand Prix Series will grow to eight events in 2017, and 13 teams are set to take the start line at each.
'There are more women's teams than ever before, reflecting the growth of the women's sport,' said Race Director Mick Bennett at the launch.
The men's races will be contested by seven teams, including 2016 series winners JLT Condor and One Pro Cycling, who have returned to domestic racing after a year at Pro Continental level.
As with previous years, the races will be broadcast on ITV4.
