To celebrate the beauty of riding in winter, we asked you to submit your best winter cycling shots, taken while out enjoying the season from the saddle, with the caption #OwnTheWinterRide.
Now that the weather finally appears to be making a change for the better though, it's time to announce the winner.
We received hundreds of entries across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, and after creating a shortlist of ten photos, we put it to a public vote. Three photos emerged as front-runners, with over 20% of the vote each, but the final winner was Rob Fryers, with 26% of the vote, for his photo of a bike at the top of a cobbled climb, Cow Lane, and the caption 'A little bit of Flanders, Yorkshire style'.

Thanks to everyone who got involved and submitted a photo, and congratulations to Rob - a worthy winner with this shot - from all of the Cyclist team. We hope you enjoy your prize: a year's free subscription to Cyclist.
