Eurosport has reinforced its status of being the 'Home of cycling' - at least in terms of race coverage, anyway - with over 60 UCI races due to be broadcasted via the live channel and on demand this season.
Eurosport and Eurosport Player, which is the on-demand arm of the broadcaster, will offer both live feeds and highlights packages for each of the races due to be aired, which range from the Tour de France to the Arctic Race of Norway.
This past weekend Paris-Roubaix was broadcast in full from start to finish on the channel, and later this month there will be extended coverage of the centenary edition of the Giro d'Italia.
In 2017 Eurosport will broadcast 200 days of live cycling and 2,300 hours of coverage across its channels. In its coverage of the three Grand Tours, Eurosport will broadcast 21 stages live in full, as part of a total of 300 hours of coverage from the Giro, Tour de France and Vuelta a Espana.
Commentators Rob Hatch, Carlton Kirby and Declan Quigley will be joined by former British national champion Matt Stephens, former Dimension Data manager Brian Smith, and former Paris-Roubaix winner Magnus Backstedt.
