Currently under construction is arguably the world's most scenic bike path, that will be suspended over the shores of Lake Garda, Italy. The £90million project will distance a staggering 87 miles in total, stretching around the entire lake, with the path almost dropping to water level at points, making it feel as if you will be riding on water.
With the path currently under construction, drone footage of the progress so far was posted onto social media with many revelling at the beautiful scenery of the Italian lake.
The bike path will be called Ciclabile di Limone sul Garda and is expected to be completed in 2021. The new project is also hoped to boost business in small villages that remain largely remote and inaccessible by land.
The path will help provide a quieter route for cyclists of all abilities, a positive for an area so commonly used by locals and cycling tourists alike.
